Minimum Deposit of $250 CAD Required on All Non-Estimated Jobs

On estimated jobs, since December of 2014 we have accepted only 100% deposits, a bit of a divergence from the traditional 50% deposit. We were a little apprehensive about this at first, and about 4% of our clients were not willing to proceed with these terms, but have since reconsidered and now all estimated jobs require a 100% deposit. This change solved many challenges that we faced and bliss for both us and our clients has ensued for the last 2+ years. The area that didn’t get resolved by this, but was still plagued with challenges, was the need for a standard agreement when it came to non-estimated jobs, which do arise from time-to-time. Effective immediately, all jobs are subject to a minimum deposit of $250+GST.
