If you run dual monitors and would like to be able to run Windows Media Center on one while still being able to work on the other, here’s the easiest way to do it:
- Get Windows Media Center running on the screen you want and maximize it to full screen.
- Uh-oh! Your mouse pointer is trapped in the Windows Media Center screen! Better go looking for a software solution or patch or buy a new computer! Or …
- Hit the Windows key on your keyboard (the key that has the Microsoft Windows logo on it). This will open the start menu and simultaneously release your cursor from it’s prison!
Now, without having to install anymore useless software that has to run all the time and chew up valuable resources, you are able to have your cake and eat it too. And by “cake” I mean “Windows Media Center running on your second monitor in full screen mode” and by “eat it too” I mean, “watch it without being forced to do nothing else”!
